EverTrace Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026
Developer: 3Nsofts
Contact: [email protected]

EverTrace is designed to organize receipts, documents, repairs, maintenance, and important dates without sending your saved records to a 3Nsofts server. This policy explains what EverTrace processes, where that information is stored, and the limited ways Apple or a service you choose may be involved.

Information processed by EverTrace

You choose what to add to EverTrace. This may include:

  • item names, categories, manufacturers, models, serial numbers, and notes;
  • photos, scans, and files you import;
  • text recognized from supported documents;
  • purchase, repair, maintenance, incident, warranty, return, renewal, and expiry details;
  • corrections and details you confirm after reviewing a suggestion;
  • reminder settings and questions you enter in Ask My Records; and
  • purchase entitlement information provided by Apple for EverTrace Plus.

This information is used only to provide the app's organization, recognition, search, reminder, record-retrieval, and subscription features.

Data collected by 3Nsofts

3Nsofts does not collect your EverTrace records. EverTrace has:

  • no EverTrace account;
  • no advertising or cross-app tracking;
  • no behavioral analytics SDK;
  • no remote crash-upload SDK;
  • no developer-operated cloud database for your records;
  • no training-data upload; and
  • no remote AI service receiving your documents or questions.

Document recognition and supported assistance run through deterministic code and Apple capabilities on your device. Ask My Records may use Apple's on-device language model when it is available. If it is unavailable or cannot interpret a request, EverTrace uses a local keyword-based fallback.

Storage and third-party services

EverTrace stores its records and imported originals in the app's local storage on your device. EverTrace does not provide its own cloud synchronization or export-archive service.

Some services outside EverTrace may handle data because you choose or configure them:

  • File and photo providers. If you select a file from iCloud Drive or another provider, that provider may download the selected file to your device under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Device backups. EverTrace data may be included in device backups according to your Apple device and account settings. A backup may leave your device. EverTrace cannot confirm that a complete, usable backup exists.
  • Apple purchases. Apple processes EverTrace Plus purchases and supplies signed subscription status to the app. 3Nsofts does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase and account information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
  • Support email. If you contact support, 3Nsofts receives the information you choose to include in your message. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or document contents unless they are necessary and you understand what you are sharing.

Permissions

EverTrace requests access only when a related feature needs it:

  • Camera: when you choose to scan a document.
  • Notifications: when you choose to enable reminders.
  • Files or photos: through Apple's system pickers when you choose content to import.

EverTrace does not require access to your contacts, email, location, or microphone for these workflows. Denying a permission may disable the related feature, while available manual-entry and import options continue to work.

Retention and deletion

Your records remain in EverTrace until you delete them or remove the app and its data.

  • Archiving an item keeps the item and its related records.
  • Deleting an item does not automatically delete documents that were linked to it.
  • Deleting a document removes its EverTrace-managed original, recognized text, and source excerpts from current app storage. Details you previously reviewed and confirmed may remain in related records with an indication that the source was deleted.
  • Deletion cannot remove copies held by a file or photo provider, copies you created elsewhere, or historical device backups controlled by Apple or another provider.

Deleting the app or losing the device may result in permanent loss if no usable device backup exists. Keep important originals somewhere you trust.

Security

EverTrace relies on Apple's application sandbox and device security features to protect local data. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device protected with a passcode, install system updates, and maintain separate copies of documents you cannot afford to lose.

Children

EverTrace is a general-audience organization tool and is not directed to children under 13. Because 3Nsofts does not operate an EverTrace account or records server, it does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app.

International use

EverTrace is available in multiple countries and regions. Because 3Nsofts does not collect or host your EverTrace records, it does not transfer those records between countries. Apple, file providers, backup providers, and email providers may process information under their own policies and applicable laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when EverTrace's features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, its App Store listing, or the 3Nsofts website when appropriate.
