Photos and captions

Choose which photos MemoryRemains can read in iOS Settings. Apple may download iCloud Photos items as you browse. Caption suggestions depend on compatible hardware, software, language, and Apple Intelligence availability; you can always write your own.

Local journal data

Notes, captions, saves, collections, and analysis do not sync and are excluded from device backup. Deleting the app removes this data, and reinstalling does not restore it. Your original photos remain in Apple Photos. Preserve important writing separately.

Lifetime Unlock

The optional unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Use Restore Purchase with the same Apple Account to restore an eligible entitlement. This does not restore local journal data. Apple handles billing and refunds.
