How do I make a move?

Tap the tile you want to change, tap one of its connected neighbors, choose an available operation, read the preview, then tap Make the move. Only connected tiles can interact.

Why can't I divide these tiles?

Divide By changes the source tile and leaves the target unchanged. The target cannot be zero, and the source must divide by the target with no remainder.

How does Halve & Give work?

The source must be a positive even number. Half stays in the source and half is added to the connected target. For example, 8 and 3 become 4 and 7.

Do Undo or Start Over have a penalty?

They never cost Energy and can be used as often as needed. They may affect the star rating for that attempt, but they do not block progress.

How do hints work?

A small hint gives a strategic nudge. A first-step hint shows how to begin and limits the rating for that attempt. A full solution shows every move, costs one Energy, and limits that attempt to one star.

What happens when Energy reaches zero?

Only complete-solution reveals become unavailable. You can continue playing all unlocked levels, use Undo and Start Over, and read small hints. One Energy returns every four hours, up to five.

Where is my progress stored?

Progress is stored locally on your device. Number Network has no account or cloud-sync system. Deleting the app may remove local progress.

The app does not open or becomes unresponsive

Close and reopen Number Network, restart the iPhone, then install the latest available iOS and app update.

A puzzle does not solve when I expect it to

Read every line in Your Goal. Some levels have simultaneous objectives that must all be true after the same move. If it still looks incorrect, send a screenshot showing the level number, board values, and goal panel.

My progress disappeared

Progress is local and may be lost if the app is deleted, the device is erased, or a backup is unavailable. Number Network cannot recover progress from a server account.
