Music that follows your flow.

MyLiveDJ menu-bar controls beside Apple Music playback on a Mac

MyLiveDJ uses broad activity context on your Mac to choose or suggest an Apple Music or Spotify playlist. Stay focused on what you are doing while the soundtrack adapts with you.

No payment required · No automatic charge · One-time purchase after trial · No subscription

The Problem

Your playlist should not interrupt your work

Choosing music sounds simple until it repeatedly pulls you away from what you are doing. Focus music feels wrong when the day becomes energetic, while an upbeat playlist can become distracting when it is time to concentrate.

MyLiveDJ handles those small transitions from the menu bar. It recognizes broad activity patterns, waits until a change is stable, and then plays or suggests music that better fits the moment.

The best soundtrack is the one you do not have to manage.

Everything important lives in the menu bar

MyLiveDJ has no dashboard competing for your attention. Its compact menu puts the music source, DJ mode, playback information, skip control, notifications, and About information in one familiar place.

Highlights

  • Lightweight menu-bar experience
  • Apple Music and Spotify source controls
  • Current playback information and track skipping
  • No permanent app window

Choose Apple Music or Spotify

Use your preferred music service and change sources from the menu. The visible readiness status tells you whether Apple Music is available or Spotify still needs to be connected.

Highlights

  • Native Apple Music playback through MusicKit
  • Spotify desktop control through macOS Automation
  • Clear service readiness and connection states
  • Multiple playlists for each broad vibe

Automatic only when you want it

Off leaves playback alone. Suggest recommends a change and waits for your answer. Auto changes playlists after a stable context transition instead of reacting to every brief app switch.

Highlights

  • Off, Suggest, and Auto modes
  • Stable context confirmation before a change
  • A calm manual option for every workflow
  • Mode changes available directly from the menu

A quiet notice when the soundtrack changes

When MyLiveDJ starts a new vibe playlist, a compact notification appears in the top corner and then gets out of the way. Playback commands are designed to preserve the app you are working in.

Highlights

  • Compact playlist-change notifications
  • Automatic dismissal
  • No persistent floating interface
  • Spotify may launch when it is not already running

Suggestions wait for your answer

Suggest mode gives MyLiveDJ awareness without giving it control. The recommendation remains visible while your current music continues, and nothing changes until you choose Keep this or Switch.

Highlights

  • Explicit Keep this and Switch actions
  • No automatic decision in Suggest mode
  • A cooldown prevents repeated prompts
  • Current playback continues while you decide

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How does MyLiveDJ understand what I am doing?

MyLiveDJ checks the identity of the currently active application and maps it to a broad activity category. It also uses system idle duration. It does not inspect content inside the application.

Does MyLiveDJ read my screen, messages, or files?

No. MyLiveDJ does not request Screen Recording or Accessibility access and does not read window titles, documents, messages, browser history, clipboard contents, or keystrokes.

Does it send my application activity to 3Nsofts?

No. Context detection and vibe decisions happen locally on your Mac. MyLiveDJ has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, or developer-operated activity service.

Which music services are supported?

MyLiveDJ supports Apple Music through MusicKit and the locally installed Spotify desktop application through macOS Automation.

Why does Spotify request Automation permission?

MyLiveDJ uses macOS Apple Events to ask Spotify to play, pause, shuffle, skip, or switch playlists. The permission is used only to control Spotify.

Will Spotify come to the foreground?

MyLiveDJ sends background playback commands and is designed to restore the application you were using if Spotify activates itself. Spotify may need to launch if it is not already running.

What is the difference between Auto and Suggest?

Auto changes music after a stable vibe transition. Suggest shows a recommendation and waits for you to accept or decline it. Off leaves playback unchanged.

Does MyLiveDJ collect analytics?

No. The app contains no advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party crash-reporting SDK.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Download MyLiveDJ and use all its features for 14 days without purchasing or entering payment details.

Will I be charged automatically after 14 days?

No. There is no automatic charge. The trial simply ends, and you decide whether to purchase the one-time permanent unlock.

Is MyLiveDJ a subscription?

No. After the 14-day free trial, MyLiveDJ is available through a single one-time purchase. There are no recurring payments, automatic renewals, or cancellation requirements.

Do I need Apple Music or Spotify?

MyLiveDJ controls music through your selected service. Access to music may require your own Apple Music or Spotify account and an applicable subscription.
