Privacy Policy
App: Driftor · Developer: 3Nsofts · Last updated: July 13, 2026
Your health data stays on your device
Driftor processes permitted Apple Health signals locally. 3Nsofts does not operate a Driftor account service or receive your HealthKit records.
Data Driftor Uses
With your permission, Driftor may read the following categories from Apple Health:
- Sleep duration and sleep-stage information
- Heart-rate variability, including SDNN values available through HealthKit
- Resting heart rate
- Timing information used to estimate hours since waking and circadian context
This information is used on-device to create research-informed wellness and focus-readiness estimates. Driftor does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor a medical condition.
Focus Sessions and Ratings
Focus-session duration, readiness context, completion state, and ratings you provide are stored locally. They are used to produce personal focus-history and pattern reports.
iCloud and CloudKit
Driftor can sync focus history across devices using Apple CloudKit and the private database associated with your iCloud account. Apple handles that storage and transmission under its privacy and security terms. HealthKit records are not uploaded to a 3Nsofts server.
You can manage iCloud access through Apple device settings. Removing local app data does not necessarily remove copies already stored in your private iCloud database; use iCloud storage settings to remove those records.
Notifications and Live Activities
If enabled, Driftor schedules local notifications and displays Live Activities for focus sessions. Notification preferences can be changed in iOS Settings. Driftor does not use a 3Nsofts push-notification profile to transmit health data.
Accounts, Advertising, and Tracking
Driftor does not require a Driftor account. It does not use advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or sell health or focus data. The app does not share HealthKit data with advertisers or data brokers.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. 3Nsofts does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction status and aggregated sales information through App Store Connect.
Apple Diagnostics
Apple may provide developers with diagnostics if you enable sharing in iOS. These reports are controlled by your Apple privacy settings and are subject to Apple's policies. Driftor does not intentionally attach HealthKit values or focus-history content to diagnostics.
Data Deletion and Permissions
- Revoke Health access in Settings or the Health app under Data Access & Devices.
- Delete Driftor to remove locally stored app data from that device.
- Manage synced Driftor records through your iCloud storage settings.
- Cancel a subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children
Driftor is not directed to children under 13 and does not operate a service that knowingly collects personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Driftor changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
