Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MovieArmyKnife (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

MovieArmyKnife is provided free of charge. 3N Softs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Mac you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Permitted Use

You may use MovieArmyKnife to process video, audio, and image files that you own or have the right to modify. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you process with the App.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
  • Use the App to process content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

5. Intellectual Property

MovieArmyKnife, including its design, code, interface, and branding, is the intellectual property of 3N Softs. All rights reserved. The App name “MovieArmyKnife” and the 3N Softs name and logo are trademarks of 3N Softs.

6. No Warranty

MovieArmyKnife is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

3N Softs does not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from use of the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the App will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 3N Softs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your files
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the App's output
  • Any damage to your files, including corruption or loss during processing

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your files. Video processing operations modify file content. Always keep original copies of important files before processing them with the App or any other software.

8. File Processing Disclaimer

MovieArmyKnife processes files locally on your device. While the App is designed to produce accurate output:

  • Video encoding is lossy by nature. Exported files may have different quality characteristics than the source.
  • The App relies on Apple's AVFoundation and VideoToolbox frameworks. Codec support, output quality, and encoding behavior are determined by Apple's implementation and your hardware capabilities.
  • Estimated file sizes and processing times are approximations and may differ from actual results.

9. Updates

3N Softs may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

10. Termination

3N Softs reserves the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

MovieArmyKnife is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to your use of the App.

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.
