MovieArmyKnife does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your Mac. All video and audio processing happens locally using Apple's native frameworks. Your files never leave your device.

Data Collection

We collect no data. Specifically:

  • No personal information — no names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
  • No usage analytics — no tracking of which features you use, how often, or for how long
  • No crash reports — no automated crash reporting or diagnostic data collection
  • No device identifiers — no collection of hardware IDs, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting data
  • No network requests — MovieArmyKnife makes zero outbound network connections. The app does not communicate with any server, API, or external service
  • No telemetry — no pings, heartbeats, or background data transmission of any kind

Data Processing

All video, audio, and image processing occurs locally on your Mac using Apple's native frameworks (AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, CoreImage). Your files are read from disk, processed in memory, and written back to disk at a location you choose. At no point does any file content leave your device.

Data Storage

MovieArmyKnife stores the following data locally on your Mac:

  • Recent files list — filenames, thumbnails, and file paths of videos you have opened, stored in a local SwiftData database within the app's sandboxed container. This data never leaves your Mac and is deleted when you clear recents or uninstall the app.
  • User preferences — your chosen default settings (export format, codec, quality), stored via UserDefaults within the app's sandboxed container.

No data is stored in iCloud, on remote servers, or in any location accessible to other apps or users.

Third-Party Services

MovieArmyKnife uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external libraries. The app is built entirely with Apple's first-party frameworks.

App Store

MovieArmyKnife is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect its own analytics related to downloads and usage as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. 3N Softs does not have access to any individual-level data from Apple.

Children's Privacy

MovieArmyKnife does not collect data from any user, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no account creation, no social features, and no advertising.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last Updated” date. Since the app collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
