Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Imminent application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Imminent, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Imminent is a spatial preparation application for Apple Vision Pro. It helps users prepare for high-stakes events, including job interviews, presentations, meetings, and examinations, through AI-generated preparation content arranged spatially on visionOS.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple Vision Pro device that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Sublicense or sell access to the App

4. AI-Generated Content

The App uses Apple's Foundation Models framework to generate preparation content based on your input. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is for informational and preparation purposes only
  • Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs
  • We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or fitness
  • You are solely responsible for how you use generated preparation material
  • AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice (legal, medical, financial, career, or otherwise)

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you input into the App (job descriptions, notes, agendas, study material). By using the App, you confirm you have the right to use and process that content.

All user content is stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or transmit your content.

6. Microphone and Voice Input

If you use voice dictation features, you grant the App permission to access your device microphone for the duration of dictation. This permission is governed by your device settings and can be revoked at any time.

7. No Account Required

The App does not require account creation. No personal registration data is collected by us.

8. In-App Purchases and Pricing

Any paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Payments, refunds, and billing disputes are governed by Apple's App Store Terms of Service. We do not process payments directly.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the App, including the name "Imminent", interface design, iconography, and original written content, is owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
  • Results from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

Use of the App is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or failure in high-stakes events, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple platform frameworks (Foundation Models, Speech, SwiftData, App Intents). Your use of those frameworks is subject to Apple's terms and policies. We are not responsible for Apple's services or platform availability.

13. Updates and Changes

We may update the App at any time. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We are not obligated to maintain specific features indefinitely.

We may also update these Terms. The updated date at the top of this page reflects changes. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your license ends immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
