Does CalmLedger send my financial data to the cloud?
No. All your financial data stays on your device. Apple Intelligence insights run entirely on-device on A17 Pro and M-series chips. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's private CloudKit database that only you can access.
What does Apple Intelligence do in CalmLedger?
On iOS 26+ with an A17 Pro or M-series chip, Apple Intelligence powers your Stability Score, behavioural nudges, and monthly summaries. All processing happens on your device — no data is sent to any server or model API. On earlier devices, CalmLedger falls back to its Core ML analysis.
Can I import my bank transactions?
Yes. CalmLedger 2.0 supports CSV import, so you can bring in exports from your bank or card provider. Multi-currency support means you can log and import transactions in any currency.
How does subscription detection work?
CalmLedger surfaces recurring charges it detects in your expense history and links directly to iOS Subscriptions so you can review or cancel them without leaving the app.
Can I share budgets with family members?
Yes. You can share budgets securely through iCloud Family Sharing. All shared data is encrypted and transmitted through Apple's CloudKit with end-to-end encryption.
